Info & Stuff

What is it? - A festival packed with hilarious comedy talent performing in a fantastic skiers paradise. They will be joined by the best DJ’s and musicians both home grown and internationally renowned. Altitude is the only bilingual comedy event in Europe.

When is it? - When is it …. Exact dates to be confirmed – watch this space!

Where is it? - Meribel - that’s the one in the middle of the largest ski area in the world.

Why is it? - Because it turns out that excellent comedy, live bands and superstar DJ’s are the perfect way to end a day on the hill, and in this case the perfect end to the almighty Alpine Ski season. The aim is for the whole festival to be carbon neutral and raise awareness of global warming and how we can do our bit to prevent it.

How is it? - It’s really simple, we are going to bring the best Comedy talent from around the world out to Meribel and make them perform in as many venues as we can lay our hands on. With live bands and top DJ’s and pro skiers and boarders also doing their stuff.

Who is it? - Putting it on - it’s the guys who have been running the brainstorming alpine success story that is ‘Taking the Piste’ Comedy across the Alps for 6 years in conjunction with the Meribel tourist office. There will be hundreds of acts coming to the festival some of whom include Marcus Brigstocke (Have I Got News For You, the Late Edition, The Now Show…), Ed Byrne, The Comedy Store Players, We Are Klang, Andre Vincent and many more, please see our constantly updating comic's page.
